It is such an exciting time of year with the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations approaching and the extra bank holiday awarded to us. In fact, we have been working so many short weeks over the past month, that we will forget how it is to work a full five days in the week!

I have been listening to everyone’s exciting plans for all of the street parties next weekend and I am pleased to let you know that I too have planned a party with my neighbours. I am sure you will hear all about it in the next newsletter or when you come in for your dental appointments.

On the 10th of May, we were acquired by Rodericks Dental Limited. Everything to do with your dental journey will remain the same with the same friendly faces to greet and treat you, whether you are on a payment scheme or you pay for your appointments privately. Behind the scenes, we have some exciting new investments in the practice. We are awaiting the arrival of our new digital scanner next week. The iTero scanner will enable patients who are enquiring about teeth straightening to see what their end result might look like before they start treatment. Both of our Invisalign providers, Dr Rhishi Patel and Dr Nikita Patel are providing complimentary consultations at present so please take advantage of this wonderful piece of equipment.

I would just like to remind you of the other services that we offer. The whole clinic is geared toward helping nervous patients but sometimes patients are too nervous to receive dentistry in the normal way. We do provide dental sedation by way of intravenous sedation this is help to calm patients and allow the treatment to take place. This is a treatment option I offer.

Our amazing implant surgeon Richard Pollock can replace your missing teeth. He can carry out treatments such as single placed implants, to teeth in a day, where the whole mouth can be reconstructed.

All the dentists carry out a whole scope of general dentistry including cosmetic makeovers and composite bonding. Composite bonding is a simple treatment that can make a huge difference to your appearance in just one appointment. The great thing is that composite bonding is not destructive to the teeth as we simply just add white filling material to create your new appearance.

We also offer facial aesthetics. These are wrinkle reducing treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers. If you are interested in these treatments, please book your complimentary consultation with me.

We will be closed over the Jubilee bank holidays, on the Queen’s orders! But do not worry if you have a dental emergency and you are a regular patient of ours please call me on 07740 121669 and I will always endeavour to help you.

This Saturday (4th June 2022) we all looking forward to our wonderful Practice Manager Jeanette’s wedding blessing to her handsome prince, Dave. This will be the second time they are getting married because of the lockdown restrictions, we were not able to share their special day before now. I am sure there will be lots of photos of the beautiful bride and her handsome husband in the next newsletter. I do hope you have a lovely time whether you are partying or resting. I know I will be hoping for some much-deserved sunshine to make our celebrations complete.
